LQG WebCalifornia has two types of generator categories, large quantity generator (LQG) and SQG. SQG are generators of less than 1,000 kg of hazardous waste per calendar month, excluding universal wastes, and/or 1 kg or less of acute or extremely hazardous waste per calendar month 2. Households are a subcategory of SQG.
