To address this problem, we annotate the 2nd version of the Chinese treebank in the scientific domain (SCTB-V2). SCTB-V2 contains 12,175 sentences annotated with word segmentation, part-of-speech tags, and phrase structures. The Chinese Treebank project began at the University of Pennsylvania in 1998, continued at the University of Colorado and then moved to Brandeis University. The project's goal is to provide a large, part-of-speech tagged and fully bracketed Chinese language corpus.
